I have mixed emotions about school starting up again. Goodbye long, leisurely, non-routine, lazy summer days and hello jammed packed, adrenaline-filled crazy days. Goodbye to kids complaining that they’re bored and have nothing to do and hello routine filled-structured days, homework and early bedtime…yay! Traditionally this period marks the beginning of a new year for me, not January. This is when my New Year’s resolutions are made…a fresh start, a new season, and an opportunity to improve or change my ways.
